About the Role
Our vision is to champion the integration of drones and robots in agriculture. We aim to offer farmers autonomous solutions that reduce manual labor, enhance yield production efficiency, and contribute to environmental protection through pesticide and carbon reduction. As we expand our footprint across Australia, we invite passionate drone pilots to join our Aerial Operations team. Our projects span diverse sectors, including but not limited to Agriculture and Mining.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive flight planning, considering factors such as system preparation, CASA regulation compliance, client needs, and company protocols.
- Execution and supervision of flights, including maintenance at operation sites.
- Ensuring strict adherence to CASA regulations.
- National travel to remote operation sites as directed by the Project Manager.
- National and international travel for training purposes, both to receive and provide.
- Operating RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems).
- Ensuring the safe operation of each drone.
- Delivering top-notch professional services to clients.
- Collaborating with technicians for RPA maintenance, system development, and testing.
- Coordinating with the Sales Department for event planning and demonstrations.
- Creating and updating user manuals.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in Aviation or Agriculture is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Chinese is advantageous but not essential.
- Fluent in English.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and travel.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Comfort in liaising with clients and agronomists and coordinating flights.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Legal work authorization in Australia.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
- A valid driver’s license with 4WD experience.
IMPORTANT
This role is predominantly focused on the agricultural sector. Successful candidates will have the unique opportunity to explore the outback and rural areas of Australia. However, this may mean extended periods away from family, friends, and urban conveniences. This role demands dedication and may not be suitable for everyone.
